Raoul - 20 years

 

For Raoul's 20th birthday, Road Safety calls on Sumo again to design its anniversary logo.

In Belgium, there is Bob. In France, Sam. With us in Luxembourg, it's Raoul who doesn't drink and who brings his friends back alive at the end of the evening. And this for 20 years.

If we almost all know that the character of "Raoul" is an invention that we owe to the late Bizart agency (at the time of... Raoul Thill, it can't be invented), what fewer of us know that it is to Christian Pearson, alias Sumo , that we owe the Raoul logo, which has remained unchanged since its creation in 2001.

So to mark the occasion, Isabelle Medinger , the director of Luxembourg Road Safety, decided to call on Sumo again – which has meanwhile become a real star of the street art scene and which is multiplying collaborations with local brands such as Luxair or Losch. – to concoct a special anniversary logo.

This is how the Crazy Baldhead , Sumo's signature character, should appear in Raoul's 20th birthday campaign. To be continued.
