Inspired by the "MUR Oberkampf" in Paris, where over 300 artists have left their mark over the years, and following on from the graffiti project at the ventilation tower at Place Guillaume II, "LE MUR LUXEMBOURG" will feature graffiti and street art in a range of styles on its 30 m2 urban canvas.

The inaugural artwork was realised by Luxembourg artist Sumo. Other artists from Luxembourg, the Greater Region, and further afield will follow his lead and create their own ephemeral pieces on "LE MUR": in all, 19 painting sessions are planned, which will take place every 2 months. Each creation will take one to two days to complete, and will be revealed to the public as part of a vernissage.
